I can't do March, and work some weekends so it would be good to get it arranged!! Preferably not the first weekend in July as that is Regatta round my way.

Oh - forgot to say that I have a sofa bed that is available if anyone who doesn't live near london would like to bunk up on. You need to like cats!!

After Easter then or First Bank Hol in May?

Didnt quite expect this response, but its good nonetheless!! :0) I'll get practising my autograph :0) (just kidding!!).

Any ideas on where to meet/what to do? During the day? Evening? If the weather is good, a park would be the best bet...

Ideas please. I know I live in London but I am useless :0)

    Space on my couch too!!xx

I'd say not a bank holiday because they mess the trains around and it will be BUSY.

What about April 29? Should be warmish by then?

    - is it me or did your savings jump massively since yesterday?? Doing well, girl! :j

I would say the park or somewhere child friendly as some people may have/want to bring children? I will probably bring my daughter if my OH wants to come too. I can bring a frisbee!!

  • Greenwich park and Crystal Palace park are both lovely. Picnic I think is a great idea-especially if kids can come and they can burn off some energy..LOL.

DD has her party on the 8th April so couldnt come on that date and am away the 21st April for the weekend. Any other date for us should be fine, but if not, no worries.

I changed my signature yesterday - managed to transfer £1085 into them. Whoo!! This sat job definately helps...

    Good idea about trains...

I wont be able to make it if its a sat, so could do 30th, but I understand that not everyone will be able to make the same date...

Perhaps somewhere Central would be best - Green Park, Hyde Park, Regents Park.. I personally like Green Park, but thats because I know it (used to work by there!!). Kids are welcome, OH's too - the more the merrier!!

If everyone brings one item of food/drink each, someone brings music etc it should be a lot of fun!! (you can guarantee it will rain though!!).xx
  • I work on Sundays but if we know the date I can book it off (if we meet on a Sunday that is :D ).

Count me in too. I live in North london so no probs about travel. Should we have a plan B in case of torrential rain? Most of the museums are free these days.
