Hi, can anyone help here please. I'm trying to find out what someone I know has done, to have ended up in prison and awaiting trial next week. Does anyone know where I can find out this info online - I know name and dob of this person - I know this sounds a bit dodgy - but its him that is dodgy and he's linked to someone in my family, so I'd like to know. Thanks for any help you can give me.

dont know if this still happens but when i had to go to the court to help sort out paperwork with my divorce there was a list on the side of the door with who was in court that day which court they were to attend and at the side of there name it said what they were at court for ie burglary, fraud or more, wont tell you more but then you can always go to the trial in the public gallery and find out for yourselfThose we love don't go away,They walk beside us every day,Unseen, unheard, but always near,

My brother got beaten up a few years ago and he pressed charges against the man (his ex-friend).
I took to phoning the magistrates court who told me when he was due to appear. On that date I rang to find the outcome and they told me it had been adjourned and told me the date. I rang on that date to find out the case had been thrown out of court (never did find out why).
To cut a long, and boring story short, I found the court's were quite happy to tell me what was going on.
It might even get printed in your local newspaper.April 2006 - £9790.26dr. DFD - March 20110 -
Yup, agree that the information of who's appearing in court is public. If you have a date for his anticipated appearance, then you can get the info then. If it's a major case it may well be in print fairly soon afterwards: the driving offences tend to appear in big batches a few weeks after the event ...Signature removed for peace of mind0

Thanks all - I will make some calls tomorrow and try to find out. We think we know what he's been in trouble for but he's such a nasty piece of work it would be good to find out for certain. I will let you know how I get on! :T0
