    Hey guys :hello:

Today was my first day back in the office. It went well although I'm shattered now! So many emails, so much to catch up! Will plough through it eventually and manager has been really supportive - I'll be leaving early this week. So nice to be back in company!

    So today:
    • LSD - couple of essentials from Tesco
    • Petrol out of allocated money
    • Packed lunch
    • Heating off all day
    • Check emails
    • Storecupboard tea
    • Eastenders, Holby and Mistresses tonight :j
    • Catch up on rest of thread
    • Washing at 30
    • Airer dry
Right I can hear those 'Enders drums, better go!
    Hope everyone is ok

Hey everyone, haven't managed to post for a couple of days, but I have been a good girl, honest!

    1) Scratch x 10p
    2) Wrapped up lovely bday pressie for Mum (courtesy of Boots) for tomorrow, using paper and card from stash.
    3) Went to work
    4) Researched car insurance. Cheapest I've got it down too so far is £93 fully comp after Quidco cashback, seeing as it is ancient.
    5) Packed lunches, and leftover quorn bolognese for tea.
    6) Paid in cheque
    7) LSD, just went to plumbers merchants and bought something to fix the soil pipe. Bleergh, a yucky job but I did it myself.
    8) Checked on-line banking. I reckon I can just about make it to the end of the month...
    9) Debated whether to book a Sun holiday or not. I've cashed in my Tesco CC vouchers to use for a holiday on the Isle of Wight, but could get 4 days there dirt cheap with the Sun instead. I just can't decide.

    Happy frugaling everyone,
    L x

  • At Christmas I was given some Argos vouchers. One of the things I bought was a Wahl hair trimmer for £21.09. I reckoned that as I have my hair as no1 or no2 cut, I would do it myself. Well today I did the third cut with it so I have now saved money. It's about £7.50 a pop at the hairdresser shop (usually more with a tip) so the hair trimmer has now earned it's keep - even allowing for a bit of electricity to use it.
