So I bit the bullet and bought a Subaru Impreza.
She's a 97 Turbo 2000.

Not very MSE I know but I've been working hard
and deserved a treat.

Check it out

Nice, I always liked that model, especially in that colour. Shame about the back end though, I was never overly keen on the estate models. Much prefer a saloon with a proper spoiler.

Who cares if it's not money saving, enjoy it!
The pen is mightier than the sword, and considerably easier to write with.

Sometimes its just worth it, I have had MSE cars in the past and it was no fun driving non turbo diesels, I'm considering getting a Cayenne, saw a cracking one on sunday with the full RUF treatment for silly money, am sorely tempted, even though it will only do sub 20mpg.

More evidence that expensive to run car prices are recovering right now.
Last year the market was awash in BMW M3's, good ones are getting harder to find again and the prices are firming up.

Good luck with the Scooby, my brother had a younger one, would be about 5 years old now, expenditure on fuel, tyres and insurance got to him in the end.

Indeed it is, their designers must be in a 1980's time warp. a pillar mounted aerial? It looks like the designers just gave up on it.
