Hi everyone I have a stack of CD Singles to get rid of and most of them are promo copies hence they have no barcodes. We are talking in the hundreds although I haven't counted them yet.
I was going to try Ebay and wasn't sure whether to sell them as job lots or singly? Or if anyone has any other ideas please let me know as I am a bit stuck as to what to do with them really. I have tried musicmagpie but they don't take singles and Amazon won't let me sell them without the barcode and they are promo copies.
Any help will be greatly appreciated. Many thanks

I would try and sell them on ebay, if their the same type of music sell them as a job lot or separate them into music types to sell.No you're not a vegetarian if you eat any animal or fish, so do not insult genuine veggies by calling yourself one!
Thanks to everyone who posts competitions. You are the stars of the board :T:j:T0 -

Hi Brightonman if you could find that url that would be great.
Cat I think that is probably the best bet, although not sure how many to send at a time. Anymore ideas anyone? xMarried the most amazing man 05/12/09 and it was the best day ever, I'm a Mrs, he he!!:jWins 2009: Peroni Alessi bowl woohoo, 1 in 10 wins DVD from Maltesers, Avon lippy!!!Freebies-Bold Gel, CoffeePinecone Research - £9Mystery Shopping - £150 -
There's some record shops in London that used to take promo copies - you used to be able to fill out details online and they would tell you if they were interested or not. Sorry can't remember what shops, just that we went to a couple near leicester square I think, and ordered some online (several years ago though).
The other thing is a cd & record fair - if there's any in your area? Loads of promo's for sale at those places, so if you have enough of a stash then label them up with your prices and find out how much for a stall? Been to the Brighton one a few times and all sorts of music tastes are coveredworking on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0 -
Some promos can be worth a fortune, depending on the artist, but the majority are worth less than the official releases, particularly if they are 1 track promos. I'd check completed listings on ebay first, sell any that might be valuable individually then get rid of the rest as a job lot.0

Promo CD's are generally worthless, but you might have one or two of interest though so it is worth pricing up.
I had a load of Promo CD's myself, and in the end I just chucked them all down the charity shop because they simply were not worth selling for the price that I would have got for them.We have removed your signature - please contact the forum team if you are not sure why - Forum Team0
