Help with Dishwasher !!!

My Mother in Law has come over from Ireland.
Has mentioned her new disherwasher works intermittently.
Recently bought, power light is coming on, but nothing happens.
Occasionally works when she pulls it out from the wall.
Water pipes appear not to be kinked.
Any ideas what could be wrong !!!!
Looking for some Brownie points !!!;)

if it works sometimes when she pulls it out from the wall, it suggests a couple of things. maybe a loose wire or maybe a small blockage which frees a little gap when the machine is moved.

is the machine being checked with regards to the filters?? sump?? etc.

if it was bought recently, as a new machine, then its still under guarantee.

is it possible that the 'rinse and hold' or 'delay' button has been pressed on the front???

is she putting it on the right pogramme??

if in doubt, call the engineer!!!

Thanks for the advice.
My mother in law was threatened will large call out fee.:eek:
If the "problem" was a simple case of a kinked tube or blocked filter.
She's only use it a few times.

Any more ideas welcome.
