  • Thats a load of tosh about the supplier not being able to cancel.

    Its highly unlikely they'd have even received the order when "they checked with them"

    Isn't there a "cooling off " period ? Think it is 14 or 28 days,I'd give the CAB ot your local trading standards office a ring.

    I did think something along these lines. Even if there isnt any company with a decent sense of moratlity (sp) would of let you cancel just over a hour after your ordered it

    If I have bought something on a credit agreement can I change my mind and cancel ?

    You may be able to cancel if you do so within a limited period of time. The agreement will tell you that you have a right to cancel and how much time you have to do this. However, you can only cancel if the agreement was made with the supplier in person, (this means not on the telephone) and the agreement was not signed at the supplier's business premises.

    I rang DFS customer services earlier, posing as a customer and asked if there is a cooling off period ( you can tell im bored during the day!! LOL) and it is 14 days so you do you have a right to cancel hun xx
