Payplan are really good, have a look at their website https://www.payplan.com. I'm with them and its the best move I ever made, they are really helpful and non judgemental. Once they've looked at all your incomings and outgoings they'll contact all your creditors and come to arrangements with them. You then just make one affordable payment a month to Payplan and they pay your creditors for you. I had to change bank and now only have a basic account, no debit card or cheque book, but it really makes you focus on what is important. This site is brilliant for money saving tips as well!Total debt May 2005 £83,232

First tip,
Change morgage to interest only ( This is all your morgage protection will pay anyway) .
Use the fund released from that to service debts with the highest APR / shortest term.
Dog food seems high WAGG Biscuts cost £8.99 for 17 KGS (we go through 1 bag every 3 months) (still by tins of meat).
Look at doing a credit card shuffel if you can for short term relief.
Youy need to be more carefull with shopping look at price - weight it may be much cheaper to by 2 items at middle weight than 1 item at its largest weight (normaly coffee dog food etc) Juts because its a multi pack doesnt mean its cheapest you will find this when looking at weight - price ratios. If it doesnt pay rent sell it.

8.Next Account £10.00 pay min £121.96 ?

Try calling your credit card company tell them there rates are no longer conpetative and ask if they can reduce them,

Thank you for your comments which I am seriously considering.
In an effort not to spend anything further, I have given all my credit cards, cheque book and cash cash to my may - she now knows something is up but I just can't tell her the full extent of my problems - I would be such a failure - but at least I am now facing up to my problems and at last trying to sort them out instead of burying my head in the sand which is what I have done for so long. Your support means a lot. Thank you again.HSBC Loan £15,679.20

Hi SnickersGirl
You could also look at freezing your current £25 HSBC pension contribution (sounds like an A.V.C. payment to top up your existing employers personal pension contributions?) and then resume when you're in a better financial position to do so.
Not sure about the HSBC Life plan - is it a life assurance savings plan that returns money after a fixed term period (say 10 years) or is it tied to your mortgage agreement?
It's worth exploring these issues as you might be able to save £40 a month here (You might find is that your main employer is already covering you for pension & life insurance without the ongoing need to contribute to the HSBC plans as well)0
