..... but i thought it was worth a mention, especially all those with young kids and messy pets. Cheaper than hiring a carpet cleaner.

I am sure it is a good deal bushrodmichael, just thought I would let people know it isnt brand spanking new althought tbh I wouldnt be all that bothered if it was in the caes of a cleaner.

I would be tempted myself only I got a very old cleaner myself and dont hav ethe money for a new one and also have more laminate floor down now.

Its a must have if you got kids and pets.
  • I completly agree poppycat. Got a baby on the way so preparing now.

for the laminate, try a microfibre mop. Morrisons do one quite cheap. Sorry for drifting off the subject.

Thanks I do that and I also use those cheap disposable cloths with anti septic from Morrison's about a £1 for 50 or so.

I have seen these at Costco, they sell for just over £100.

This one is £70 inc p&p however reviews seem to be very sparse.

I am looking for a decent carpet washer but the only decent one with good reviews seems to be the Vax 6151SX 6 in 1 Multifunctional Vacuum Cleaner (http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B0000W5EFE/qid=1141052435/sr=8-2/ref=sr_8_xs_ap_i2_xgl/202-7835566-9647027 £160 from Amazon).

For baby/pet spills on carpets these are far better...

..mainly because you'll never bother to try and get the big ones out in a hurry after the first time. There's a good review on the web somewhere if you search.
