How to get rid of mould for good

Hi,
I have a one bed flat and have a bad problem with mould as a result of condensation. I need to do something other than open windows and wash walls ie some type of ventilation system or condensation unit.
Has anyone out there done this and 1) has it worked 2) what system did you use and finally 3) what company did you use?
Thanks

This has been covered many times on this forum
There are several ways although its not exact science. But one thing you do need is to find out what's causing it.
Increasing heat in a home allowes the air to absorb more water, when the heating goes off the warm air condensed in cold spots
Try and not dry things on rads or have windows open for cooking/bathing/showers etc or get a extractor fan
Fit air bricks
Probably best way is get a dehumidify not expensive to run 24/7 they use about 300w to run but they dont run all time unless its really bad
Increase insulation, loft, walls etc. Double glazing can help. Anti-condensation paint can also help though only minor
Killing mould you need to use a anti-fungal cleaner, you may need to paint again it its on the walls/ceiling
excuse any mistakes I got a hell of a headache tonight0 -
Thinking of getting cavity wall insulation - does anybody know if this really helps - there seems to be some thoughts that it can cause damp problems ?0

Thank you for your detailed reply.
The mould is def caused by condensation and it is a problem in the whole block . A neighbour of mine got a quote from a company called Kenwood to install positive pressure venitlations (think that is the correct name).
Another alternative was a company called Kiltox who offer a heat recovery ventilator. My neighbour has not made any decision .
I am looking to find someone who has used either of these options and companies and have any useful information.
Equally if someone has used something else that has worked would like to hear form you.
Thanks in advance0
