    Hi!

There's the National Seal Sanctuary at Gweek, St Michael's Mount at Marazion (I remember being amazed at the heart stone when I was little :o ) Kynance Cove is a beautiful place and although the 3 year old won't be very appreciate you just have to visit the Minack Theatre you may be lucky enough to catch a child friendly show there in the summer (we've seen Wind in the Willows there), Praa Sands is probably the nearest beach and it's beautiful.

If you don't mind a drive then Newquay Zoo is lovely, Crealy Adventure Park near Wadebridge is great & the little one may like Dairyland which is also near Newquay. If you fancy a bit of physical exercise then the Camel Trail is great, I'd suggest going from Wadebridge to Padstow. You can hire bikes easily in Wadebridge (there are little tagalongs for the little one to sit in) & if your grandchild has a lot of energy left then there is a fab park in Wadebridge.

Paradise Park is in Hayle and is lovely, you can feed birds with nectar and they put on shows. There is a kiddies soft play area too.

    Nice family day out.

Another vote for the Paradise Park, we went last year, and its ace. My daughter got to feed the Penguins. Also Flambards is a good day out, and the Victorian Village is a must.

Newquay Zoo is brilliant, all the family will love it. Cornwall is one of the best parts of the world IMO.

Also Flambards is a good day out, and the Victorian Village is a must.

Whenever I hear someone say this it always makes smile as all Flambards village reminds me of is boring school trips & trying not to breathe whilst in there as that antiquey smell always turns my stomach. My partner enjoyed it though when we went there a few years back.

If you can get entry via Tesco vouchers then go for it, but if you have to pay full price then there's not much there for a 3 year old imho and with everything else there is to do in Cornwall I think it's overpriced for what it is.
Mind you Flambards must be the only theme park in the world when you can see cows from the rides :D

Also looking forward to some nice walks and times on the beach as this is his first seaside holiday usually go visit aunts abroad so grandad is so excited about building sand castles!! with him, this boy and his grandad cannot be seperated.
