When can I get another job in redundancy company?

Hello - I hope someone can help me!

I've been offered redundancy from my role in a big company.

If I were to take it (alternative is to travel over an hour to another site) how long would I need to wait until I could reapply for another job in the same company?

Would it make a difference if I were to be taken back on as a temporary member of staff.

The manager who is doing my consultation period said she thought it was 90 days but wasn't 100% sure. She didn't know about a temporary job.

Thanks in advance for any advice - I've got my next consultation meeting tomorrow.

Providing it's not very obviously the same job, you can finish on Friday and start again on Monday.

although they may have their own internal rules requiring you repay any redundancy package if you come back to soon
