Distance selling regs - do they apply to subscription renewals?

Anyone know if the cooling off period only applies to a service you've just taken out? I had 10 weeks of the Tescos Diet plan and they've just auto renewed my subscription. They did email me but I didn't see the email. I asked them within 5 days to cancel, but they won't. Anyone else had similar prob?

Spot on here, DSR's only cover the original transaction. You should check your e-mails more carefully...If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, we have at least to consider the possibility that we have a small aquatic bird of the family anatidae on our hands
