Help Adding External Drive

Hi All,
I have run out ofspaceon my laptop so need more space only got a 40GB hard drive.

I was wondering of this drive was a good option as itcan be addesto the network so I wont need to carry it around with my laptop.

Can anyone tell me if to connect this drive to the network all I have to do is plug it into my modem/router ?

  • Yes, that drive includes both Ethernet and USB interfaces and cables so you can plug it into your router (so other computers on the network can see it as well) or attach it directly to your computer.
