lucky me i work from home, but when i had just business line i had to pay the businees bb charges, the best i found was ZEN, i went for a 2gb package approx £18 a month and they were the most reliable isp ive ever had. we ended up getting a res line and now can get the cheaper deals.

Be Pro is fine for business from their end. I guess it depends what you need from "business broadband".

    https://www.bethere.co.uk/broadbandpro.do

"Essential if you need a professional standard connection for work or play."

I'm with Be and the service has been faultless so far. Always fast, and I'm getting 6 months free, and £45 quidco expected next month.

    T&Cs say:

"you agree not to use the Services for any commercial or business use, except as set out in the ‘Fair and acceptable usage policy’"

    FUP says:
    1. Commercial purposes (unless you are a Be value or Be unlimited member who is working from home as a sole trader in business on your own account or a pro member in which case see below for limits on certain types of commercial use)
Sending or uploading unsolicited emails, advertising or promotional materials, offering to sell any goods or services, or conducting or forwarding surveys, contests or chain letters except that Be value or Be unlimited members working from home as a sole trader in business on their own account or pro members are permitted to send marketing communications in accordance with the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 if sent in batches of no more than fifty (50) emails at any time, each individual campaign being sent to no more than five hundred (500) recipients, with no more than five (5) campaigns per month

So I guess it all depends on what kind of usage you'd be looking at. I'd definitely consider it, and get in contact with them and ask. They're a pretty relaxed bunch, lots of users run home servers, they'll happily provide multiple IPs and setup RDNS for you, etc.
They say it's genetic, they say he can't help it, they say you can catch it - but sometimes you're born with it

    Hi cooltrikerchick

I think it depends on your business needs. For example, UW mirror the BT offering for business phone infrastructure and support with a 10% discount against BT prices and their call charges are up to 45% cheaper (according to the business info  ). They offer various Broadband options from about £25 to £60 a month depending on the business requirement - single PC to networks of 24 - downloads from 20gb to unlimited - wireless - Static IP's etc. etc.

Your best option might be to go back to BT and ask them to review your current expenditure and see what they can do for you as you are considering moving to a cheaper provider. It may well be that there is a better value package that would suit your usage of phone / broadband within their business packages.

    Good Luck :D
