Hi
Can someone please help me.
I have several 8 to be exact email accounts that I need to check frequently.
It is just such a pain to log in and out everytime.
Is their any software that will allow me to be alerted when a new email arrives in one of the accounts?
I have tried eprompter but it has stopped working on my pc ???
Thanks

Why not just set them all up in Outlook Express and have it check them every 10 minutes or so? ???0

I use Poptray available free from http://www.poptray.org/
Many recommend Mailwasher but it's can't hold a candle up to Poptray. I use it to check 3x pop3 accounts, a hotmail account and a gmail one. I can time each account to be checked individually and also set an individual sound to notify when mail arrives. The hotmail & gmail checks are plugins from the same site and install automatically into Poptray. It permits previews, can delete and has junk/spam filters. It also boots up your email client. The only thing it doesn't do is 'bounce' which to some Mailwasher users appears to be a massive drawback....{shakes head in bewilderment}.0 -

Information on the required settings is normally available from the relevant ISP or mail hosting company's website.
Once you have the accounts set up, in OE go to Tools, Options, and in the Send/Receive messages area, set it up to check at intervals as required.0 -
I agree PopTray is the way to go. I use it to keep an eye on my personal emails when looked as my work user.Hug provider for depression thread :grouphug:
