Fundraising for Overseas Charity Work
Options
This summer I am volunteering with a charity called Tenteleni and will be going to work in a school in South Africa for two months. To do this I need to fundraise around £1300 to cover the costs of food/accomodation/flights/innoculations and was wondering if anyone on here had some good tips on ways to do it?
Earlier on today I discovered greenmetropolis through looking on these forums and have since listed some books to try and make a bit of money, I also have a few old cds/dvds which I could sell if anyone could recommend the best place to sell them.
Any other schemes/ideas which have proven successful in the past would be great as I have a lot of money to raise. Thank-you.

Children Walking Tall's website... (see link below)
oops, as a new user I can't post the link... You'll have to find it yourself
Just goto childrenwalkingtall website and go to the 'help us' then 'fundraising' section, there's a PDF file which you can download
Hope it helps
