I'm hoping someone here can help.

I am with Scottish power and my gas meter is saying fail and I have no gas supply.

I have contacted my supplier who gave me another number to ring which I did. They told me I had to contact my supplier.
So I rang them back and they told me no I definately had to ring that number.

Does anyone know who exactly it is I have to contact?

Thanks in advance. :D

Your Supplier will usually contact the Company that owns your meter. National Grid and the other Meter Operators will not deal with the Customers. Call Scottish Power back and raise a complaint and ask for a Manager.

    Hope you get sorted soon.

If you mean you have a prepayment mtr with an error msg on it then it is the responsibility of the gas supplier to arrange for an engineer from their metering contractors to attend and not for you to arrange as they have to pay for it.
I am responsible me, myself and I alone I am not the keeper others thoughts and words.
