hey folks bit of advice wanted
i was with scottish power up until about 2 years ago when i switched to eon
i switched back to scottish power at the end of november with the move complete at the end of december 08,the tarriff i signed up for was there discounted energy plan ,i explained to the guy on the phone and he could see from my records i had 2 meters and was on a comfort plus system,he said we dont do that anymore and signed me up for the discounted energy plan
i got my first bill for them last week and to my shock i was on the comfort plus plan,i call ed to ask what was going on and they said it was an error and would rectify it,just got a call today saying discounted energy not available to me as i have 2 meters and a comfort plus system.........and that i would be put on a different plan,to compensate they are puting me on a fixed plan that they stopped offering last august, and runs out this september as the prices are cheaper than current comfort plus prices,i am not happy at all at not getting what i signed up for,if they had told me at the time it wasnt available to me i wouldnt have switched, they say there is nothing they can do and sorry about that is all they can say
any idea if there is any kinda action i can take,i know i cant get the plan i signed up for but surely they cant sign you up for something and then go back on it,esspecially as i had been with them before and new the metering in my house
also you guys know any other electricity company that i can switch to with 2 meters(i have storage heaters) or any good deals
may thanks in advance for any help
