They have made contact inside the 6 year time limit so he can't claim statute barred now.

I have a question, I have several credit cards and two loans on the go, I don't really want to pay it all back now, I would rather spend the money on a nice holiday or kit my living room out with a home-entertainment system, how can I wriggle out of my "financial responsibilities" and get out of repaying my debt?
All advice welcome and thank you in advance.
Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.

That would depend on when the cards and loans were aquired. You could always get a really big loan and do a runner. I am sure you wouldn't be missed around here. TA TA:wave:

I thought if they had made contact but the debt was not acknowledged then statute barred could still be claimed?
