I've never closed auctions early, and I tell them that I won't be closing the auction early. I also make sure the question gets posted onto my auction, so others know this.
I would wonder why they want you to close the auction early (is it an item of value that you dont know about?)
Surely they can bid the BIN they would chose to pay anyway and see if they get it. I always think its dodgy if someone approaches you direct as they obviously want it cheaper than they think the auction will go to.The curve that can set a lot of things straight is a smile0
