Budget hotels near Paddington

I have friend coming over from scandinavia next month. He needs a place to crash in the paddington area for him and his young daughter.Not a dive, just somewhere inexpensive. Can anyone recommend some place?

Paddington has a lot of hotels, not many of them that great. Our 'work recommended' hotel is the Quality Crown.

He needs it for April 27th. I guess his daughter would be around 7/8. I don't know his budget but can assume to be £40-60. Anyone stayed at Easyhotel at Paddington?

Any reason why Paddington? There's more hotels if you look towards Bayswater. I'm guessing this is for 1 night?

Never met anyone who stayed at the EasyHotel, sorry.

For their budget, you are pushing into 'dive' hotel budgets. How about using Priceline - they let you but a bid in for a price and let hotels decide if they want your business.

Btw, if you are in bayswater, there's much more places to eat out.. it's also just 1 stop on the tube (or a 10 minute walk) from paddington

He's in transit, not sure why Paddington. This is for a single night. Never used priceline. Will have a look.
