How to Measure for a Wooden Shed

Options
I have a gap between the house wall and the fence of approx 62-63 inches.

Could I squeeze in a 7x5 or is a 6x4 more realistic?

Thanks

I would think about the larger size. Erecting a shed. mostly done from the inside.
Silly gap around edge, not much use for anything. You won't be able to paint/ protect walls, but then again they will be up against a wall , so won't get too much sun/rain.

Talking about rain  is there an allowance for water to run off roof??

The roof will overhang the walls by several inches in order that the run off, is clear of the walls. So you will need to take this into account when deciding the size. If you are buying a standard shed, it would be a good idea to measure the overall size of the roof. Your neighbour, assuming that you have one, might not want the run off dropping on their side of the fence.
In any event, buy the biggest shed that you can fit in. I doubt whether anyone has ever decided that their shed was too big for all the stuff that they want to store in it.
I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.

I have a shed where the back was up against a wall 3/4 of its height. The gap was about 2 inches or there abouts. I used a bamboo stick with along angled brush to paint it with stain, it worked but took a while. Its surprising even with a small gap how it can get weathered

I would say a 7x5 shed would be 64" including the roof (even more if you take in to account the fascias, but these can be trimmed.)
Putting it up won't be a problem, because the 2 sides of the roof can be felted on the ground and then put up and the ridge bit put on from up there.
But it doesn't sound like it will fit anyway!
Best bet is to go to a shed place with a tape measure.
