unknown numbers on my bill

Just checked my Sky Talk bill and found three unknown premium rate numbers:
0700 891 9930
0700 891 9922
0700 891 9923
All Syntec UK Ltd, all made from 6.30 pm onwards over a few days, adding up to about £12
We have Sky broadband. As far as I can tell, these are not Sky Active games (which my kids know not to play anyway...) And no-one in the house would ring this kind of number without our knowledge. I tried the tracing website but all I get is confirmation of the Syntec name etc.
Does anyone know what these could be? I want to stop this before the charges get any bigger!!
Thanks
Also, we have our Sky plugged into BT phone socket, and use cordless home phones, could we be hacked? Have changed to 3 Mobile recently and worried these calls could be some kind of sales trick.

Why choose to be right instead of happy when there is no way to be right? :cheesy:

1. Unplug the Sky box.
2. Fit a Commtel Phone Guard to the socket into which the DECT base station is plugged and, in the 07 range, only allow 075, 076, 077, 078 and 079 numbers.Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0 -
Thanks.
I've unplugged the box, and I'll check the parental settings to make sure it was set to prevent games.
I'd still like to hear from anyone who has a theory about what these calls are though - I think Sky games all start with 09 numbers? Like I said I'm 99% sure none of us are responsible. Why choose to be right instead of happy when there is no way to be right? :cheesy:0
