I bought some Asda ones in the sale last summer (they were reduced to £1 each) but none of them kept their seal. I didn't bother taking them back as they were so cheap, and they still keep out the dust and moisture so they're ok just as storage bags for storing the patio chair cushions in the shed, they just don't stay flat.0

Bin liners, hoover, duct tape. I did some duvets and pillows years ago and they are still totally flat. I just put them in the bin liners, gathered the "neck" sucked out the air with the hoover and kept it tight whilst I wrapped it up with the duct tape. Mum bought the expensive bags and they leaked - my bin liners didn't.
Money saved :j :j :jThe best things in life are NOT free - but they sure are cheaper with MSE!:j0 -

do you need to vacume seal them if your moving home why not just store them in heavy duty dustbin bags of the floor (away from mice and rats). If you need to compress them a little put you boxes full of books on them.Money's too tight to mention!!!0
