Has anyone tried this https://www.mycarcheck.com Does a full history check for a quarter of the price of HPi. Seems too good to be true....

It sure is cheap ... but it misses out on what I think is probably the most important reason for why the HPI exists ... it doesnt tell you if the car is on finance. Remember that if you buy a car which has finance outstanding on it, you potentially can become responsible for that.
My advice is to use the RAC check (https://www.rac.co.uk) which costs £24.99 and is a fully comprehensive check done through HPI.If you found my comment helpful, please click the 'Thanks' button below :T0 -

Do RAC members get that cheaper?0 -
Nope. I am an RAC member and couldnt find anywhere that woudl allow me to get it cheaper. Bear in mind the check is actually done through the HPI website so I assume the RAC are getting a good deal from the HPI for pushing business their way.highguyuk wrote:Do RAC members get that cheaper? If you found my comment helpful, please click the 'Thanks' button below :T0
