A business account would be the only way you could give the account your rescue centre's name.0

It would not have to be a business account. It would however have to be one that permitted non-personal use. Most accounts will have it as part of their T&Cs that it's for personal customers only.
Does your group have a constitution? If so, then you should be able to get a very basic non-personal account in the name of your group at pretty much any bank. Go for one that is in a good location for you & the other account holders, as it's likely to require you to visit a branch to pay in/withdraw. Don't expect anything remotely good with regards to interest rates.0 -
The A&L account only require access to a Post Office for cash transactions - anything else can be done by phone/internet/post0
