12 months free line rental from sky talk

I've been with sky for a while for TV, broadband and phone and my line rentals been with BT.
And while i've been looking to get the most for my money i found a really good deal from tiscalli, tv braodband phone and line rental for £20 a month or £25 with a Tiscali plus box and extra channels. the only downside to that is the £100 install fee.
Anyway i rang sky talk and got through to there cancellations. I asked them to offer me something better or i was going.
I wasn't interested in sky plus or the movie channels so after a few minutes they offered my 12 months free line rental with no obligation to stay with them or to renew after the 12 months is up.
