Where can I send old tights?

A while ago I saw that tightsplease.com were sending old tights to a hospital in Ethiopia so I gathered together a load of tights from a few people & packed them up. When I looked on their website to check their address it said they'd sent their last load & gave the address in Ethiopia to send them directly. Now as there's a couple of lbs in weight it'll cost a fortune to send them to Africa.

Does anyone know of another UK place I can send them to?

You might find that a local playgroup, school, nursery may like them for stuffing.

hello, i emailed the place that had made the original request as i couldnt see anything on their site, they said they now have a company that supplies them but people are kindly sending so many to them direct they don't know what to do with them and don't need any.
