0845 9 272 100 royal mail tracking / help- one option is to speak to a human, who can check the latest on their system ('net updates may take a bit longer), and maybe even email you a copy of said receipt.. (after you confirm address sent to/from etc):beer:Long time away from MSE, been dealing real life stuff..

I checked the Royal mail site and the tracking information has now changed to -We have tried to deliver your item from our CLEVELAND Delivery Office before 12:15 on 24/03/09 and we have left a while you were out card.
You can arrange a redelivery online, call the number on your card to arrange a re-delivery, or collect the item from your local enquiry office by bringing your card and proof of identification and address.
What is going on, i know the buyer has recieved the items as she has stated this.0 -

Another instance of recorded not doing what it is supposed to. Yes she has the items 100% she has told me this. She got them on the 19th so why is tracking saying that they attempted to deliver on the 24th when previously Royal Mail stated that the item had been delivered on the 19th which would be correct.
She opened a paypal dispute the day before delivery (18th) for non receipt but then stated on the paypal dispute the following day that the items had arrived.
She has now escalated the dispute to paypal because she waited 19 days for delivery even though this was a non ebay purchase with delivery informed of being upto 21 days.0 -

Can you just confirm this was a non ebay purchase? If the buyer didn't go through ebay and sent the money directly through paypal then i don't think they are protected anyway

You don't have to go through ebay to have protection on your paypal payment........What if the Hokey Pokey really is what it's all about !!!0 -

Paypal sales outside of ebay are still fully protected against non receipt of an item. Phoned Royal Mail who can not understand why the tracking has been changed as the item HAS been delivered and they have a signature for it which they have sent to me.
I have uploaded the file to paypal.0 -
cant really give advice bar possibly its something to do with the scanning of the paper sig cards0
