    Interesting that Blair's got off scott free so far.

    He would have been my second choice!

    NB I shall be old before this poll closes - if I'm still here at all. :D

    I also agree that most of the deflation we see is in areas where we had stupid inflation and so this is more a smoothing adjustment.

    Deflation??

    I was out on Saturday and it cost me;

    £10 for ingredients for a weekend fry-up, :eek:
    £45 for a tank of petrol for a 1.6 L car, :eek:
    £30 for a tacky Pizza Hut lunch for 2, :eek:
    £45 for a half week shop for myself. :eek:

    If this really is deflation then bug*er me. ;)

    Where's my option for a 'A mixture of small and large factors as it's a complex situation caused by complex issues".

    You little tinker Generali.

    Oh, and can you add an 'Immigrants' option for Dervish?

    To blame for so many things - Serge Gainsbourg and over-rated wines to name but 2.

    I love Serge - anything with a young Bridget Bardot doing a bit of French accented heavy breathing..... Quite partial to a bit of vin rouge too. Better than that New World stuff clocking up the carbon emissions being shipped from the other side of the planet.
