DVD unlocking codes ( for OZ)

My Uk dvd player has for some reasons just died in me :eek: It has worked really well since we got here but for some reason we have no picture only sound. We tried it on our UK tv & it works ok but for some reason wont work on our new Aussie tv.
We went to buy a new recordable dvd today but the guy said that our Dvds wont play on it as Oz are region 4.
Does anyone know of an unlocking Dvd site for Oz ? I've done a google search but found nothing.The Dvd we are thinking of buying is a LGrecordable DR7922w or Samsung DVDR121.
Any help is much appreciated.Thank you

If one element is missing (sound or picture) it points very much towards your scart cable. Try replacing it.
