should i invite my sons grandparents to the wedding (previous partner)

i have this problem as my daughters has a grandad that visits them regulary ( not to my choice ) to be honest they are not even that bothered if he comes or not , but my mil (h2b`s mum) asked if we were inviting him to our wedding and straight away both of us said no !! and all she went on about is how she thinks he should be there to see his grandaughters in there dresses for the day ,
i dont think he should be as i dont want any ex`s family at my wedding it`ll make it uncomftable i have a cousin that her partner`s brother is an ex of mines and that is bad enough but i get on with him ( cousins partner + he doesnt get on with his brother my ex ) so no i dont think they should be invited unless they are a big part of the bride and grooms life then no !!

Are you inviting the ex? I think that would have a significant impact on the inviting? My ex is not invited to the wedding as I feel it would be awkward and uncomfortable for him, and he isn't in my good books at the best of times anyway! DD's Grandma is very close to her but I would not dream of inviting her and not my ex, and TBH I think they would wonder why they were being invited to my wedding when they have no involvement with me per se, or my family/family-to-be. If DD's Grandma was still close to me (as she was before ex's new GF arrived on the scene :roll eyes:) then I would have considered it.....
