Faulty Sofa

Hi
We purchased a sofa from Reids in Nov 2008. In Feb we called them out as one of the seats had flattened and one of the springs was jamming in the recliner part of the sofa. They came out and repaired both probs. 4 weeks later we now have 2 further probs with the sofa that im sure they will come out and repair. However my query is around asking whether im entitled to ask for a replacement or money back due to the obvious poor quality of our sofa?
We paid £900 for the sofa and dont expect to have called them out twice for repairs in the short time we have had them.
Im planning to call them today but would like a bit of advice before i call them re my rights (if i have any) in asking for a replacement
Many thanks

Hi
Just thought i would provide an update. When the assessor came out to view the probs he advised that they were both fixable, however i said that i didnt want the sofa repaired as this was the 2nd call out in 6 months. He said he would have to pass his findings onto his manager who would then get in touch with me, which they did today. And im delighted with the response, they agreed with me and have invited me into the store to pick another sofa

Well done!
My Mum had a similar problem with flattened seats esp in the armchair, the assessor's view was the showroom model had been pumped full of air to make them look better!Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

Well done reids must be a good retailer. You would never have had that response with DFS. Our sofa from them kept breaking every few weeks from a couple of months old and they insisted on 'fixing' it each time. In the end we chucked it and bought a decent one.:j Trytryagain FLYLADY - SAYE £700 each month Premium Bonds £713 Mortgage Was £100,000@20/6/08 now zilch 21/4/15:beer: WTL - 52 (I'll do it 4 MUM)0
