Yeah, it's you O2 people that are the problem.

The network was fine when it was just Be, but when O2 bought them things started getting a bit congested in some areas.
The speeds are still great on the whole, and like I said, I've always had full speed, but there are some pockets of congestion.
When you get your line stats let us know and I'll take a look and see if I can work out where the problem lies.They say it's genetic, they say he can't help it, they say you can catch it - but sometimes you're born with it0 -
Hi, just to give abit of an update really...
When trying to tell o2 about problems noticed the landline was crackling. :eek: Hmm!! Got BT out to look at it today and the wiring needed replacing and so they did this..
Tried the internet still couldn't connect to it, went to Maplin and paid approx £30 for :-- Commtel ADSL Microfilter & Adaptor
- Commtel Super High Speed ADSL Broadband Moden Cab;e RJ11 to RJ11 (10 metre)
Thanks for all your help and assistance, will monitor and see how it goes... I'm not sure if these are the right bits or whether it was a good price for the items but wanted something straight away and it's all plugged in and working (touch wood) :beer:This is a system account and does not represent a real person. edit: here's the info just in case you can't access the O2 site.
Click on the following router config link:
http://192.168.1.254/cgi/b/dsl/dt/?be=0&l0=1&l1=0
Login = "SuperUser"
Password = "O2Br0adb64nd"
Bold = Capital

Password and username without quotes.
Why do they tell us to change router password if there is an overider username and password. Am I more at risk with o2 router.0 -
There is a much better alternative Summer01 to the extension phone line with this, I will just link rather than type as its all explained here.

You may also be worried about security and also possible side effects of EMR exposure from the wireless signal (which unfortunately people don't seem to think about much), which may be worse than a mobile phone as your may spend considerably less time on a mobile phone, I would try one of these.0 -
Did you see the follow up reaction to Clicks botnet attacks 2 weeks ago. 7mins 53 secs onwards.http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b00jpd6h/Click_28_03_2009/
I am still surprised why so many people are broadcasting wirelessly with no security.
I was surprised at news report on SAMKNOWS link Leopard. What do think about this report.http://www.samknows.com/broadband/news/dangerous-router-eating-worm-discovered-in-australia-535.html0
