Could be welcome unwelcome news for those on prepayment meters: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/7958525.stm They will still be able to charge higher but need to be able to justify the higher rate. ETA: unwelcome - they've updated the article already.

Perhaps OFGEM can investigate themselves whilst they are at it and try and justify the chairmans £100,000 salary for 3 days a months work and also chief exec Alastair Buchanans megabucks paydeal and gold plated civil service pension arrangements?
