    Today I received a letter from Lowell's Complaint Investigations Officer.
    They are very apologetic about me feeling that I have been harassed, and there has apparently been a letter sent to me (which I have not yet received) confirming that this account has been closed and has been confirmed as Statute Barred.

    So I just want to say thank you to everyone who helped me on this forum. Especially for that great letter which Fermi originally wrote as that seemed to do the trick.

    I shall keep this letter safe just incase they should try to sell it onto another Debt Collector in the future.
