tyre over white line

right here goes do i have a case or not

i parked my car at the local cinema car park at one end of the car park the market was just packing up to go home so i parked well away i found space on the end of a row ( car only on drivers side) but he was slighty in my bay so to compensate i moved over slightly i had paid my ticket etc then came bk to find i had a ticket because my tyre was outside the white box there WAS NOT another space on the passenger side as i was at the end of the row so iwasnt stopping anybody else parking anywhere nor was i blocking any paths, gates etc there was nothing else there.

Is it a ticket from a private parking firm or the council?
If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, we have at least to consider the possibility that we have a small aquatic bird of the family anatidae on our hands

Post up the ticket (all of it), and photos of the bay and the signs - the ones that tell you what the penalties will be, etc.

Wasn't Odeon Maidstone by any chance was it??

I would try challenging it anyway, explain it as you have done here and see what happens.

    It's always worth a try ;)

Always a !!!!!! that one. Someone else is parked horribly, so you squeeze in, they do one and leave you looking like your parking is shocking.

Especially bad in the snow, i.e. can't see the markings at all, so I pull in the normal distance beside the car next to me. He goes away, as does the snow and my car is left straddling two parking pays making me look like a right plank.
