How do I cancel a paid for hotmail account?

My father in law set up a paid for hotmail account years and years ago, and never used it. He keeps on getting charged for this service every year and wants to cancel, however since he set this up so long ago he can't remember the email address or password. He only has what shows up on his account (so all his bank details/the amount taken from his account and a random number next to hot mail (which we guess is a ref or hotmail account number?) Can anyone help at all?? Many thanks in advance...

Presumably the option that you need is for MSN services, as AFAIK it's now MSN Hotmail.
