Thanks Greenbee, that's really nice of you. I do have an old worn spare one that I can use if I don't get this one dry/ironed in time, but now that my bedrooms all decorated how I want it, I only want to put on my matching cream flowery one IYKWIM. I know, I'm really sad, please don't pick on me, I promise I have miss-matched pegs and cups (although I do stack the same coloured ones together)... Errrrrm, I'm beginning to worry myself now...:eek: :rotfl:

Yes, I know, the one time of the year we get an extra hours lie-in and they do this - very inconsiderate of them! Am really looking forward to it though, it was brilliant to hear Jenson's shout from the car when he went into pole - such a change from last year and he really deserved it, as did Barrachello...

I might still be able to make the meeting next Saturday - hubby might have to work, so if he does, I will drive down to him on Friday and stay the night, then meet you all on Saturday, then drive home as we have a family 'do' that night so I have to be back for that... never been so popular! If he's not working then we are going out for the day still, so I won't be able to make it... Will let you know when I do...

We don't get an extra hour - we LOSE an hour!! That's why I commented - having to get up early after having an hours less sleep is not good!!!

No problem about the meet - numbers don't matter so even last minute additions are fine

soappie and I have been looking at places to meet next Saturday - we have a dog and a child coming so are limited on places in Southampton itself. Also, S'ton are playing at home next week so the place could be quite busy (assuming they still have any fans!!!)

So, if people are ok with it, we are looking at pubs more in the countryside but within a few minutes walk of a train station, where we can sit in or out depending on the weather, go for a nice walk in the country, have a drink and get food if we want to, and people can arrive / leave as they need to.

I know what you mean about 1 April, I have to go to a team meeting that was rescheduled to that day and I wondered if the reschedule is a joke and it’s really on the 2nd which was the original date! But have decided that Surrey County Council will be more professional than that!

DON’T FORGET TO MOVE YOUR CLOCKS FORWARD ONE HOUR AT 2AM! It’s such a pain having to get up at 2am to do that isn’t it!

Re opera: couldn’t you phone the theatre and ask them if there is a dress code? I always turn up everywhere in the wrong clothes

Emily, hugs for you and DH. Sounds stressful and worrying. Does he often collapse during dialysis? What did the staff say about him collapsing?

I really don’t understand about the pies, googled them and I think we must have filters too! Good thing too I suppose!

Have had a really nice day today. Went over to my hometown and saw my family and a few friends. It was great! Came back worn out and with a terribly stiff and painful shoulder and so DH dropped me at home and went out to get an Indian takeaway! Yum! It was delicious! Have got the leftovers for lunch tomorrow.

We are seeing Mum and Dad tmrw as well and Mum said I could tumbledry some washing at her house, which is fab, as we are getting behind on the washing, simply because we can’t get it dry!

Yes lil_me he should do his own washing & to be fair he does when he is away........just me being a Mum I guess regarding the driving my op was 6 weeks yesterday & the consultant has said I can drive, so long as it was OK with my insurance company........not going too far though, I'm not up to that.....nice to get some independene back.
