Waether is grotty so have been polishing my credit card. Two 'Generous Gardener' roses from David Austin to grow over the front porch, and about to order some dierama and tricyrtis (toad lilly) from www.westcountrylupins.co.uk. Cheering me up at least.

DS2 has very much enjoyed drilling holes in some big tubs so we can plant some new potatoes. He insisted we did it outside so there was no mess, I have trained him well.

Oooh - forgot to mention. When I was in Mr. T I enquired about the whole salmon and how much one would cost (my freezer stocks have run out). She mentioned a figure and then said but if you wait until next week or the week after, they'll be half price......

So there we are, half price whole salmon in Mr. T next week or thereabouts..

They do this twice a year - between christmas and new year, and again at Easter. Thinking about it, possibly a third time around the August Bank hol but dont quote me on that.

I'm still here, but life is hectic and I've not kept up with the tasks this week at all. I do however intend to attack as much as possible this afternoon, so we will see how that goes.

Anyone up for a HHC - 2.45pm onwards? My aim will be to blitz as much as possible of the list this afternoon, so I shall be doing a few of these.

grins cos didn't thank AB - but more by accident than design;)

ah well what an expensive week - car service and unexpected dental bill...
and lots of exercise being had as keep pegging out washing and bringing it in. I am now so fed up I just have big things on 1 line IYSWIM; things that shouldn't really be tumble dried (but will be if I get desperate).
Which morons design and manufacture sports kit that sholdn't be tumbled? Why have I (couch potato extraordinaire) got sporty children?
