Valli - You have my sympathy...that is a lot of money to find for a retainer. Did you get a container for DS to keep it in? DD got one for hers. I have to nag her every night to remember to put it in. You'd think the bright pink box by the sink would remind her, eh?
He has two - one for each set. He has the container that the gumshield bought for him to play football in THAT HE NEVER WORE @ £50! so he can use that...

jjef sorry to hear about your Mother in Law, hope you are ok, thinking of you and all the family x
greenbee you and me both, fed the boys then wallowed :o but feel so much better do it
soappie BB is about the same age as my lab/espringer cross, he's still bonkers so pleased to hear he's not the only one. Everyone thinks he's a puppy.....but yes intelligent, knows he's cute, too loving as he wants to sit on you all the time and loyalty that only ever slips when food is on the go!
toots yes some of those are on Facebook so see them sometimes on there. New caravan hopefully here in May but needed the damp on this one sorting to trade it in, they wouldn't want something with a soggy bottom :o

Don't want to speak too soon but DS2 had a new meds last night and it's the first dry night all week.....yes! Not counting chickens but such a relief to have less laundry than usual to start the day with.

I keep missing calls on my silly new phone, had one of the local castles phoning me back about the next conference, anyway eventually I've managed to speak with her and it's given me something to think about. They've put all bookings on hold until July while they decide about financial situation......I'm wondering if it'd be risky us booking anything this far in advance for November.

We've had rain here all night (I nearly left the washing out, had to run out in my PJs) and it's still doing it now, I really don't feel like doing anything but know I must. Conference is next week, this assignment needs doing and I have laundry clean/dry mountains which need dealing with aswell as general chaos in the house.

Best go wake DP up and get some washing hanging on the airers first, then decide what I am doing today....
One day I might be more organised...........

Why have they chosen Coventry? I hope it's all going well for them, and I'm sure they'll be on the phone lots. They'll still need you (I bet they appreciate you more when you aren't around!)

I now have DW salt... but it's still cold and miserable here, so I really don't feel like doing anything :o

Pigpen, I work just outside Coventry one day a week if you need someone local to help them at all, and it is only a half hour drive for me if need be. I will have a three wheeler pram, and a travel cot coming back from my BIL easter weekend that may be useful for them as well once they are close enough for me to drop the stuff off?

JJeff, hugs for you and yours.

Serena - Huskies can be lovely dogs, DH's best friend has 4 and a racing rig (wheeled sledge thingy) for them. They are his babies and they are soft as anything.

I tried to get on outside but it is now hailing so gave up. Wasted the morning in BnQ and now DH has sloped off to bed so not a huge amount being done, and he is just compounding his insomnia problem IMHO.
