thankyou browntoa , i just wanted it checked because i few things happening to p.c running slow, crashing on msn and my windows help and support have disapeared and i can't find it on registry editor.

Which register editor are you speaking of, and what have you used it for?

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/555472 Looked at this link given me from another thread and i followed instuctions below :

To resolve the issue, perform the following:

Go to Windows registry.
Navigate to the following registry key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersion/App Paths
Got as far as app path and there isn't helpctr.exe there , wondered if there was a unistall /install i could do that was esayer ??
Double-click HELPCTR.EXE.
Right-Click (Default) in the right window pane, and click Modify.

Type the following:

C:\WINDOWS\PCHealth\HelpCtr\Binaries\HelpCtr.exe
this didnt work either
Click OK.
Exit the Registry Editor, and restart Windows XP.

Did it by going start >run>regedit

i have only recently updated java , nothing else it was running great . I'm not 100 % when i couldnt get into help support cos i haven't needed it . shall i try and restore to an earlyer date ??
