in Credit cards
I currently owe £4000(up to it's credit limit) on an egg card and £1700 on a egg personal loan. I would like to transfer both balances onto a 0% credit card and become a "good Tart". I'm finding it difficult to find a credit card with an introductory 0% BT that will allow me to transfer a loan. Can anyone help me, i'm trying to find the best way to pay off my debt's asap. Thank you

Can you post here your income and outgoings?
Do you have any spare income at the end of the month to put towards the debt?
You will need to find a card that will transfer money to your current account then transfer it to your loan (but Egg is one of them).0 -
Have you tried the Abbey? According to the best buy tables in the observer yesterday they have a 0% on BTs and no fee for nine months (This is becoming very rare). The other four quoted with it have a fee. The number quoted is 0800 7317444 you can say it was in the Observer and that no fee was quoted if they start telling you there is one.
hope this helps0 -

If you need to BT money from a loan then you are looking for a stoozing card, Egg is one, Mint another, there are a couple more but they escape me at moment - however if you have a look for stoozing on the main site you'll find out soon enough. Just check closely your t&cs with Egg, you may get hit with a penalty for making overpayments on your loan/paying it off early.Debt Oct 2005: £32,692.94
Current debt: £14,000.00

I am self employed, so my average monthly earnings are around £1600. My outgoings are about £1200. I intended to pay about £150 per month off my debt as some months wages are less.0

How long have you been self employed? Have you tried your bank to see what credit card they can offer?
If you find it impossible to get a 0% card the next best thing would either be a life of balance card with a low rate or a low rate personal loan where overpayments are allowed without penalty.0
