Help - Cooker Broken

Hi
I posted last night to ask whether it was safe to use my cooker as the is light no longer worked but the flame was still on.
Basically, I turned the oven on last night (it is a gas oven but needs electricity to light the gas and power the clock/timer) and the electric went off. I changed the fuse in the plug of the oven and plugged it back in. The oven had a flame but no light. I cooked some garlic bread and it was fine.
Anyway, today I have gone to cook something else in it and noticed that whether it's on Gas Mark 1 or Gas Mark 9 the flame is the same size.
Tozer did ask me to check the thermostat but because the food was cooked I thought it was OK.
Does this mean a new oven or just a new thermostat? It's an Electrolux oven (no idea of model as it was already here when we moved in).
Thanks in advance
Who would be the best person to get out to fix it?
