Amazon - difficult seller

Hi
I purchased an item off Amazon from a company (not Amazon itself).
What rights do I have if the item didn't arrive?
The seller offered to send a replacement but by the time they came back to my I had sought an alternative product elsewhere. They now ignore my communications.
The product was paid for using a Halifax Visa Debit card (approx cost £15.00).
Can a 'charge back' be started?
What is Amazon's process when things go wrong?

They are not being difficult.
You entered a contract with them , unfortunately the item went missing in the post, they quickly fulfilled a replacement and have more than met their side of it.
Just because you couldnt be arsed waiting doesnt mean they should suffer a financial loss more than they have already.0 -
If bought on marketplace the seller should offer a full refund.
