Getting to Sainsburys - Water Lane
Hi
I need to go from Coulsdon, Surrey to Sainsburys, Water Lane (GU9 9NJ).
When I use the TFL website it doesn't recogonise this postcode for Sainsburys.
I have no idea where Water Lane is or how to reach it exactly. I need to be there by 8.30am on Saturday 28th March.
Can anyone tell me how to get there via public transport?
Thanks!

Getting there
Train: Farnham
Bus: 14, 16

Isn't Google a marvelous thing0 -
Also note that the No 16 bus leaves Farnham station from Waverley Lane, but the first one that goes to Sainsburys is the 09:35 - I can't believe that either but its what the timetable says.
The No 14 is hourly and leaves Farnham - from the Borough (that's the road name - allow for 7 or 8 minute walk from the station) at 07:25 and 08:25 so you will need to arrive in time for the 07:25 Journey time is 5 minutes on the bus, maybe a 30 minute walk. Best option might be to get a taxi from Farnham station (opposite side to where you will most likely arrive). That way you can arrive at the station on the 07:55 or if you can afford to be 5 to 10 minutes late, on the 08:25"How could I have been so mistaken as to trust the experts" - John F Kennedy 19620 -
Y u usin TFL for a GU9 postcode?!
ever tried national rail?! or even AA journey planner?!0 -
Use google maps, it will show you the route totally:beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
Thanks.
I haven't been in the country long.
Is Google maps only for driving?
With a Young Person's card, from Coulsdon South, does anyone know how much it'll cost me?
Is it cheaper to get a return ticket?0 -
Do the 14 and 16 buses take Oyster Cards?0

The Sainsburys in Water Lane is quite a way from the town centre so you will need to get a bus from the town centre as COS69 stated.
P.S Farnham is so posh they will not allow a McDonalds there0 -

Put the details in the system below and check, depends on time you travel but if before 09:00, not sure if any discounts allowed

If you don't want go to posh Farnham, you can get the train from Londin to not-so-posh Aldershot then get the 14 bus from there.
