Changing O2 Tariff's
My wife is on O2 PAYG but I'm not sure what tariff. I do know that it is not the £10 per month 100 mins/texts which is what she wants to be on.
How do you go about changing and can you keep the existing number?

Hiya Holiday
Just get in touch with O2 on 4445 from your mobile or 0871 989 0202 on your land line and tell them you want to change the tarrif they should be able to do it for you.
There should be no reason why you can't keep your number.
If you look at O2 online then it gives you all the tariffs available on their site.0 -
Hi,
Visit there website and go to the tarrifs section you can send a text to change your tarrif, i think that the £10 100 free mins is only available to users who have the O2 Online sims (300 free texts sims) If she doesnrt have one of these look in the freebies board theres normaly a promotion every month or 2. She can also change to the MORE tarrif which is 150 free mins for £15 + your existing 100 free mins / 300 free texts.
Im currently on this tarrif in effect I used to top up £10 a month I now top up £15 every 2, I use the 150 free mins the first month and used the £15 credit for the second month effectivly im now spending £7.50 a month. If it doesnt pay rent sell it.

Sorry, I'm obviousley being a bit thick, tonite!!
I can't work the way you're making this = to £7.50/month. Unless they let you run the unused minutes on to the following month.
I'm on PAYG Talkalotmore, £10/month includes 50mins & 50texts. When I mailed them to switch to 100units instead, said it couldn't be done. Pointed me at the Frequent Q's list.
Now that IS confusing!!
Just wish I could work out which offer to go for & get a new fone & tarrif!!

I'm on talkalotmore too if i top up £10 a month i get 300 free text messages,
If i top up £15 a month i get 300 free text messages and 150 minutes free off peak talktime and if i top up £30 a minth i get 300 free text messages and 300 minutes free off peak talk time.
This is with a online sim so maybe you have to ask for the online offer cos as far as i know this offer isn't available from the o2 shop just online.
As for any texts or minutes you don't use being moved over to the next month i don't think it works like that i know mine don't if i haven't used them in the month i lose them and start again begining of new month. If you mail them they will mail you aniversary dates for when free texts start and finish etc.0 -
I changed my and my mother's existing number from the high st tafiff to online tariff. They might charge you the £9.99 against your call credit as if you had bought a new online sim - once they did and once not but more recently I don't think they do.
Not found this the most efficient O2 process - they came back both times and quoted need for codes etc but if you insist you are aware that all you need to do is request the change, which takes 48 hours, and if you get someone who knows the process it can be very straightforward.
