Hi
I wonder if anyone has had a similar problem? I have a condensor tumble dryer, that's not working as the empty water light is lit. I have emptied the water and the filter, but no joy.
Any advice?
Thanks

I have had this problem and the problem when it hads flooded the kitchen because the light didn'tcome on when the water reservoir is full.
This may be a silly question but have you checked the water reservoir is in and the reservoir door is closed properly? switche it off at the wall then on again? Is there a reset button at the back of the dryer? if so maybe you need to press it to reset it.
These may sound like daft questions but they worked for me.

Yes checked all these, and sadly no reset button. Still no joy.
Anyone else?
Thanks0 -

We have a hotpoint one..
Goes as follows..
Full light on..
Empty drawer & refit
Light still on..
Turn dryer on..
Light goes out within few mins, sometimes faster.
Might need to run it..0 -
No it won't run because of the light being on!0
