Soundproofing conservatory?

Can a conservatory be designed to minimise the about of noise coming in?
My chav neighbours love nothing more than making a damned row every day the sun is shining, with screaming kids, barking dogs, radio playing, etc. etc.
I am thinking fully double-glazed rather than a polycarbonate roof will help, and maybe laminated glass will help deaden the sound transmitted via the windows.

You can get glass that has properties to reduce sound, we had it in out last house which contained Argon gas, it doesn't stop noise all together though, its very difficult to stop all noise as you get noise of different frequencies and some materials are better than others at stopping low or high frequencies.0

You could ask for 6mm toughened on the outside leaf, more expensive but it will help0

Make sure the roof members will take the extra weight if your replacing polycarbonare with glass units.0
